Part Time Custodian – Local Church (Beaumont, TX) Hours: Base of 15–20 hrs/week, with additional hours as needed up to 35 Pay: $12–$16/hr depending on experience Schedule: Flexible schedule; some weekend hours required Location: Southeast Beaumont (77705) About the Position Our church is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Part Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for worship services, ministries, and community events. This role works inside a faith based Christian church setting, and requires respect for the church's mission and values. Key Responsibilities •Weekly cleaning and facility upkeep •Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal •Restocking supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment •Light maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, minor repairs, reporting issues) •Setup and tear down for banquets, functions, and special events •Picking up cleaning supplies or materials as needed •Safely drive and pick up congregants for services or church functions •Ensuring facilities are secure and prepared for weekly services Physical Requirements •Ability to lift 50 lbs •Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks •Ability to set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for events Church Expectations •Professionalism •Trustworthiness •Strong work ethic and attention to detail •Respect for the church's mission and values Required Qualifications •Valid driver's license •Reliable transportation •Background Check Required Preferred Experience •Prior custodial or janitorial experience •Experience in schools, churches, or community facilities How to Apply Email your résumé to: westtabernaclembc@gmail.com
