Mid Century Modern Estate Sale Great Expectations Estate Sales is pleased to announce our next sale, this coming Friday and Saturday, August 28 and 29 at 3745 Treadway in Beaumont (off Folsom, parallel to Crow Road). Since there is no garage, we'll do things a bit differently. Numbers will be passed out (Friday only) at 7:30 and all (house and back yard) will open at 8:00. Hours will be 8 to 3 on Friday (full price) and 8 to 1 on Saturday (half price). The house is like walking back in time, mid-century modern everything! Furniture, mirrors, ornate light fixtures, full kitchen, table and chairs, glass tables, velvet couch right out of Graceland, vintage typewriters, console tv, console stereo, records, 8-tracks and cassettes, washer and dryer, two refrigerators, book shelves, dressers, queen bed, and hundreds of littles from the 60's/70's. Now for the best part for you ladies. There are over 100 pairs of amazing shoes (sizes 7-8 and , vintage hats, many still in the original box, ornate belts like you've never seen before, an entire closet full of silk garments, and closet after closet full of high-quality vintage garments. Be sure to park on the designated side of Treadway (it is a narrow street), and use the driveway only for pick-up and drop-off.
