All priority service customers receive instant ad approval. Free ads and Singles Club profiles are approved in the order received Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.

My phone number is being rejected from my ad.
Your phone number no longer appears in the body of your ad. You are able to choose up to three phone numbers you input when filling out your account profile.

How do I submit an ad?
Everyone gets one free ad and one free singles club profile. To submit your ad or singles profile, you first must set up a FREE user account with SoutheastTexas.com. You can do this by following the instructions on our home page. Once you have activated your account, you will receive your very own home page every time you log on. You add and manage your ad and profile by going to the left hand column of the page and selecting the appropriate link. For example, if you would like to place a free classified ad, scroll to Classifieds, then click "Submit an Ad". From there just follow the step-by-step procedures.

How do I delete or edit my ad?
From your My Account Home Page, you will find a complete ad management system in the left hand column. From there, choose the correct link to accomplish your goal under the applicable heading (Autos, Classifieds, Real Estate, JobSeek, Singles Club).

Scam Alert
FBI Internet Scam/Fraud Center Online 06/25/05
Foreign scam warnings are posted on SoutheastTexas.com prior to anyone being allowed to post an ad.
These scams involving fake cashier's checks and money orders are not new. Both the FBI - Beaumont and Secret Service - Houston are very aware of these scams.
If you receive an email offering to pay you more than your asking price, the payment is by cashier's check or money order and you are asked to send the overage amount to a shipping or collection agent, this IS a scam. You are advised to ignore and delete such emails. The only way we'll beat them is by ignoring them.
Most of these originate our of Nigeria, regardless of what country the con artist claims to call home. The problem is, the Nigerian government will not cooperate with the U.S. government.

How do I upload a picture on SoutheastTexas.com
First, your image must be in either a .jpg or .gif format. The web does not display images in other formats like bitmap or tiff.
Click the browse button on the image screen and locate the picture you would like to upload on your computer. Double click the image and you are good to go.

Why is My Ad Still in Pending Approval
Free ads are approved in the order in which received, Mon-Fri from 8AM - 5PM.
Currently, we process 50,000 ads per month. If you need your ad to post immediately, you may do so through our priority ad service. For $15.00, your ad is posted instantly and posted toward the very top of the list. Priority service ads remain up for 30 days and can be edited or replaced with a new ad anytime you wish.
