Your Singles Club profile name is simple and easy to remember. It is also the name that you will use to correspond with other individuals through the Singles Club mail features. Simply sign in to the site and then just click on the Singles Club icon at the top of the screen. Your profile name is located to the right of the screen. Remember that this name is short, quick and you can give it out to anyone who is using the SoutheastTexas.com Singles Club. The address will appear on your profile and you can send it to others using SoutheastTexas.com e-mail.

How do I create my own personal ad or profile?
Just go to the home page of SoutheastTexas.com, log in and click on the link for the Singles Club. Once you do so, click on the Sign Up button and you are on your way to creating your own personal ad. It's that easy.

I'm trying to upload a photo and it's not working.
If your picture is failing to load correctly, first make sure that it is not larger than 100K in size.
Photos must also be saved in the form of a JPEG or a GIF (.jpg or .gif) file. Other formats such as Bitmap (.bmp) will not work.
Photos taken with a high-resolution digital camera may be too large for your profile, so please remember to save it in a size that will work for your profile.

How do I change my profile name?
It's very simple. Simply login to the site and the click on the link to take you to the Singles Club. Once you are there you simply click on the "Update My Singles Profile" icon. From there you change any of your Singles Club personal information, including your profile name.

How do I remove or hide my entire Singles Club profile?
To hide your entire profile, go to the Singles Club and select "Update My Singles Profile". From this page you can select to either delete your Singles Club profile completely, or you may select to make you profile hidden or visible.
Once a profile has been deleted, all mail and setting attached to your profile will be deleted and cannot be recovered. A hidden profile cannot be viewed by anyone but you, and will not be included in anyone else's search results.

To narrow down your matches, select more interests, a smaller age range or a closer distance from your chosen location, or use a specific postal code instead of the "Select a City" option. You can also add a word or phrase to the "Keyword" field to get an exact match.

Are "Adult" photos allowed on this site?
SoutheastTexas.com, currently does not allow pictures with lewd content to be posted,( i.e. nudity). All photos are screened before being approved to be posted on the site. Any pictures that do have unacceptable content will be denied from being posted.

How can I search faster and better?
To make your searches faster, try limiting your matches to smaller groups or a narrower distance from your city. Use the "Back to search results" link rather than your browser's "Back" button.
When using the "Keyword" field, be sure to deselect all categories that do not meet your criteria. Use the keyword field for specific words or phrases you want to appear on your matches, which can help make your searches more accurate.
To narrow your search results and focus on the specific criteria most important to you, try selecting just the basic information (gender, age range, location) and then just a few other categories. If you select many categories, you will get profiles that are less than a perfect match.
Search speed will be best when there are fewer Singles Club members in your "Blocked Members" list.

Check out who's new in your area by selecting the check box "New Members Only" in the search area. This will return a list of people that have joined the Singles Club in the past 30 days.

Why isn't my city listed in the Singles Club search?
Although we do our best to include everyone's city, we may have overlooked a couple. If you would like to suggest that your city be included in our Singles Club search, please visit our Help section and submit a request through the contact us section.
In the meantime, type in your postal code for the closest profiles. In your search options, try searching for people a greater distance from your selected postal code.

Why are some of my search results for the wrong city?
Some people that live in small cities will list their postal code and manually type in the name of the nearest big city into the text field. If you are doing a search by postal code, you may get results that say they are in the nearest big city, but they will actually be within the radius of the postal code that you specified.
For major metropolitan areas, profiles may appear in more than one city.

At this time, we do not offer the ability to block members from viewing your profile. If another member is sending unwanted e-mails or harassing you in any way, this is a violation of our user agreement. Please report the offender to us immediately via the Report Violations form.

How do I submit a Singles Club profile?
Everyone gets one free ad and one free singles club profile. To submit your ad or singles profile, you first must set up a FREE user account with SoutheastTexas.com. You can do this by following the instructions on our home page. Once you have activated your account, you will receive your very own home page every time you log on. You add and manage your ad and profile by going to the left hand column of the page and selecting the appropriate link. For example, if you would like to place a free singles club profile, scroll to Singles Club, then click "Create Profile". From there just follow the step-by-step procedures.

From your My Account Home Page, you will find a complete ad management system in the left hand column. From there, choose the correct link to accomplish your goal under the applicable heading (Autos, Classifieds, Real Estate, JobSeek, Singles Club).

How do I upload a picture on SoutheastTexas.com
First, your image must be in either a .jpg or .gif format. The web does not display images in other formats like bitmap or tiff.
Click the browse button on the image screen and locate the picture you would like to upload on your computer. Double click the image and you are good to go.

Why is My Ad Still in Pending Approval
Free ads are approved in the order in which received, Mon-Fri from 8AM - 5PM.
Currently, we process 50,000 ads per month. If you need your ad to post immediately, you may do so through our priority ad service. For $15.00, your ad is posted instantly and posted toward the very top of the list. Priority service ads remain up for 30 days and can be edited or replaced with a new ad anytime you wish.
