I lost my password

To retrieve a lost password, go to the sign in page and click the "Forgotten your password?" link below the Sign In button. You must have access to the email address under which you created your account. If you no longer have access to this email, and you've forgotten your password, we cannot send it to you. You must create a new account in this situation.

Why does my ad say " Pending Approval "?

All submissions to the southeasttexas.com website (except for pre-paid ad submissions) are pre-approved for acceptable content. The approval process takes place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What does the blinking Pending Approval message mean?

When you place a free ad on southeasttexas.com, that ad must be approved by our staff before it appears live on our site. Pre-paid ads do not go through this approval process. Your Pending Approval ad will be reviewed during normal business hours and will appear live on our site after it is approved.

Why can't I log out?

Southeasttexas.com requires the use of cookies. This is a small harmless file that is placed on your computer that identifies you as you move through the site. When you log off this cookie is removed. In some cases it becomes hung up, and you will need to go into your browser's settings and clear/delete your cookies. This should solve your problem.

Scam Alert

FBI Internet Scam/Fraud Center Online 06/25/05 Foreign scam warnings are posted on SoutheastTexas.com prior to anyone being allowed to post an ad. These scams involving fake cashier's checks and money orders are not new. Both the FBI - Beaumont and Secret Service - Houston are very aware of these scams. If you receive an email offering to pay you more than your asking price, the payment is by cashier's check or money order and you are asked to send the overage amount to a shipping or collection agent, this IS a scam. You are advised to ignore and delete such emails. The only way we'll beat them is by ignoring them. Most of these originate our of Nigeria, regardless of what country the con artist claims to call home. The problem is, the Nigerian government will not cooperate with the U.S. government.
