Message Center Terms of Service (TOS) and Guidelines
The following are general guidelines and Terms of Service (TOS) for the the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center
service. Please note that the guidelines outlined
below are in addition to the guidelines set forth in the SoutheastTexas.com Community
Guidelines, User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center is a free service provided to SoutheastTexas.com
members. In order to ensure that the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center satisfies customers and remains
technically sound, we ask that you follow the guidelines outlined below. To report any
violations of these guidelines and TOS or of SoutheastTexas.com's Community
Guidelines, User Agreement or Privacy Policy, please follow this link to:??????????????
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center is for use by individuals that are 18 years of age or older. All information collected by SoutheastTexas.com is considered confidential and may only be used in our communication with you. Only one profile is allowed per individual.
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center is to be used for correspondence between
SoutheastTexas.com members and is not capable of sending or receiving
"e-mail" from sources other than SoutheastTexas.com. The following communications
may not be transmitted via the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center: junk mail, spam, chain letters or other mass
distribution messages, either solicited or unsolicited.
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center is to be used for correspondence between a
"User" and a "Recipient" to the exclusion of the following types of communication: those
that are, or include, material that may be considered harassing, abusive,
threatening, harmful, vulgar or obscene or those that invade someone else's
privacy. Under no circumstances should the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center be used for
illegal purposes or for the transmission of information, content, images, sounds or
other messages that may be deemed unlawful.
All messages transmitted via the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center service
are considered
private communications between the message sender and the message recipient. SoutheastTexas.com
will not access, edit, disclose or monitor the User's private message communications, except under extenuating circumstances including, without
limitation, the following: where such activity is required by law or
requested by legal authorities, to comply with legal processes, to enforce
SoutheastTexas.com's Community Guidelines, User Agreement, Privacy Policy or
these Message Center Guidelines, to respond to claims that said correspondence
violates third-party rights, to prevent serious physical injury to any third
party, to protect the property, rights or other assets of SoutheastTexas.com,
and to locate, repair or trouble-shoot technical issues of the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center
service.
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center User understands that SoutheastTexas.com may
establish and change the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center service standards, guidelines, TOS or any other
element of the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center service at its sole discretion and with or without
advance warning to the User. Such changes may include, but are not limited
to, the amount of server space allotted to Users for message storage, the
maximum length of time a User may store messages, attachments or other message
related information on the SoutheastTexas.com server, the maximum number
of messages that can be sent to or received by a User within a
particular time period and the minimum number of messages either sent
to or received by a User to establish active or inactive account status.
Accounts deemed as inactive accounts by SoutheastTexas.com may be subject to
termination, with or without advance notice.
The SoutheastTexas.com Message Center User further understands that SoutheastTexas.com
may terminate a User's the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center account, or the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center
service, at any time for any reason whatsoever, at its sole discretion, and with or without
advance notice.
SoutheastTexas.com will not be held responsible for the deletion or corruption
of User messages, communications or other content transmitted or stored by
the SoutheastTexas.com Message Center service.
