How do I post jobs?

You must first create an employer profile. Just log into SoutheastTexas.com. From your My Account Homepage, scroll down to JobSeek and click "create profile" Your employer profile will first need to be approved before you are allowed to post JobSeek ads. Approvals generally take less than an hour.

Why can't I add a job posting?

As an employer, you are allowed to post a job to the Jobseek section only after we have verified your account details. This helps to prevent fraudulent job postings and keeps our site as user-friendly as possible.

Why can't I search through resumes?

Only members who are employers and who have been successfully verified as a bonafide employer may search resumes. Once your Employer status has been successfully verified, AND you submit atleast one PAID job ad, you may search resumes posted in Jobseek.

What happens when I set my resume to Searchable?

You may have only one resume searchable by employers at any one time. Click on the Searchable / Not Searchable link to set your resume to either be searchable or not searchable by employers.

How do I copy/paste my existing Resume?

To copy and paste your resume, it must currently exist within a Microsoft Word document. Open your existing MS Word resume and click on the Edit button at the top of MS Word. The Edit menu will then open. Find the option called "Select All". Click "Select All". Click the Edit button again. Click the "Copy" option. Now, go back to southeasttexas.com. Right-click once with your mouse pointer hovered on top of the resume box. Click paste within the dropdown menu that appears. At this time, only MS Word resumes may be pasted within the resume box. If your resume is some other format (i.e. Word Perfect), you must retype your resume within the resume box.

When will my ad be approved?

All priority service customers receive instant ad approval. Free ads and Singles Club profiles are approved in the order received Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.

How do I view applicant responses to my job posting?

Applicant resumes no longer are sent to your email account. Instead, you are now able to view all applicant resumes directly from your "My Account" home page. On the left hand side of the page, scroll down to JobSeek. There you will find "View Applicants" that contains the complete list of resumes for your job opening.

How do I delete or edit my ad?

From your My Account Home Page, you will find a complete ad management system in the left hand column. From there, choose the correct link to accomplish your goal under the applicable heading (Autos, Classifieds, Real Estate, JobSeek, Singles Club).
